Geneva, your quilt is lovely! Are you happy with it, even though it doesn't match how you imagined?
Backwards posting does take getting used to....but glad we have our threads back at least
I'm quilting a quilt for my niece, had a brainstorm for how to put together my Rows, and debating what to start next after my niece's quilt....I have a quilt for me to quilt, top was pieced after Quilt Festival last November (class project); a start-to-finish quilt to make for my nephew (and then his sister, too....), and the lady I made 2 bed quilts for has requested quilted pillow shams to match, which I need to figure out as well.
Nice to have time to do whatever I want, and plenty to choose from

Well that is me into panic sewing mode... I've just completed an entry form for FoQ and all I have is a design drawn out so far.... at least it is another little one - they don't take as long as the full size ones, right?  :S :side:

These pics aren't quilting...but to special not to share !! DH took a ATV ride up the hills a ways and met these two trotting down the road.
Took a bit getting by them safely. Very new fawn...a bit wobble-y yet ...Had to stop and rest frozen to the spot . Darrel took the snap and
went carefully by...Mum was down the road a few yards watching...eyeing him with a serious posture !

Thank you Barb! What a surprise. I would have missed it if you hadn't noted it here. My MIL was a wonderful woman and I miss her a lot. This was my 2009 Hoffman Challenge quilt and I believe I have come a long ways especially in quilting since I made this fun little quilt. It is currently at G Street Fabrics in Rockville Maryland, as part of the exhibit of my quilts (part one) there.Originally posted by "BarbCA" post=141522BJ - Congratulations on today's (June 7th) "Quilt of the Day"!

Thank you! The exhibit is going well. As I said, this is part one. Part two starts in mid July. I will leave most of part one in place through the whole exhibit until the end of August. I have not sold anything yet this time, but there are some interested nibbles. I am going there this Saturday (10 June) to lead a machine quilting workshop, and will endeavor to get some pictures while I'm there. Sorry it has taken me so long to do that. I have been working full speed to get everything ready for both the workshop and part two of the exhibit. Thanks for asking. Maybe it won't be too long now before I can catch up with everyone here. Cheers.Originally posted by "twiglet" post=141525Congratulations BJ. How's the display going? Have you had any feedback or sales

Oh my goodness! Thanks again to TQS for honoring me and my little quilt like this. This quilt is currently at G Street Fabrics in Rockville, Maryland as part of the exhibit of my quilts through the summer. It also is a Hoffman Challenge quilt and was also shown at AQS Lancaster in 2011. It's not a great picture, though...I think I scotch taped it to the door and the two top corners are sagging forward...LOL.Originally posted by "twiglet" post=141528And another one today, you're on a roll BJ :cheer:
