Thanks, Wendy! I made a huge star quilt like this another year and sent it down. She wanted to keep it. Since the shipping of the 2nd container to them was delayed, I had time after my Christmas rush to make her a quilt. And good timing with hearing about their fixing houses etc so the son & family can move closer to the main property.

The star is from using FQs and pieces together fast. I just needed to add some borders to make it fit a queen bed. Great pattern for a stash quilt! And for one that loves to play with quilting.

Luann, being in charge of programs is a large job! It sounds like you are doing a wonderful job. In the guilds I'm in, yes, the program chair works a year or 2 ahead for the next chairs. And in the current year, takes care of the speaker's needs, introduction to the program time, and payment from the treasurer to the speaker. You added in making a stunning brochure!!

              Hi!
How odd that the Row Robin forum is stuck! However, like my husband says "It's a computer!"

This past weekend was amazing! I was the member featured artist for our guild show. I am amazed and humbled at being chosen. I was really taken aback when I walked around and saw my 30+ years body of work. I've never seen them all together like this and it was amazing. I'll post some pictures that my sweetie took. I'll do 4 and then do another post as it takes so long to post a lot of pictures.

This was the entry to my area.

Here are Color and Passion 1 & 2! The first time they have been hung and seen by anyone.

And of course June was there. She's such a party gal. She likes to be the center of attention.

These are some travel quilts, Dear Jane and a quilt I made after my dad died. (Someone asked me if I made this after he died. It has his date of death on it. )

That's enough for this post.... geneva

                And here's 4 more pictures:

This is a quilt that my friends from Carmel Indiana made the blocks for me and I hand quilted it. It is 100" long. The bottom is pinned up. The pink flamingo block is made by my friend Brenda Papadakis.

This is TSAU, The Souls Among Us, Magnum Opus, and a shot of Color and Passion 1.

This is the back wall. My daughter's sunflower quilt I made for her graduation, my crop circles quilts and a little quilt my granddaughter and I made together.

Another grouping. Jolly Ranchers, All Roads Lead Home and Sawa Sawa my original design.

There are a few more but you get the idea. It was so fun!

Barb, thanks for your comments about being so busy. This winter has been a hard one with all the snow and cold. Taking care of my mom has been so emotionally and physically draining. But she is settled and seems to be doing ok. Today my husband had cataract surgery so I am attempting to keep him quiet! It all went well. And in 2 weeks my mom will have endoscopy surgery. Plus being Grammy to wonderful grandkids.... I keep busy! At the quilt show I bought a fat quarter set to make a baby quilt for my newest grandson due in June. I'm hoping to get more sewing time in soon.

Nancy! I love your applique! OMG! It's beautiful and so dramatic. I'm glad you were thinking of me and enjoying yourself. You made me smile so big!

I gave out the TQS website to several people this past weekend. Maybe some of them will join and hang out in our lounge and be a lizard! We can always use more crazy people like us. And I mean that very affectionally. (That's not really a word, but you get what I mean, right?)

                Take care everyone! geneva

Geneva, what a wonderful show. You do make very lively and colorful quilts and I saw June at a Mancuso show. Its awesome.

I also have some news, I have been asked by our LQS to do a trunk show in May 13th, which is my birthday. I've never done a trunk show before, so am very honored and nervous, but will need to start gathering quilts and what to say, which usually isn't a problem for me. If there are any northern Colorado girls who want to come it will be at Sew Downtown in Greeley at 10 a.m. on May 13th. Maybe I'll bring treats for everyone for my birthday.

I always enjoy seeing everyone's goodies.

Geneva, what a wonderful display of all your hard work and gorgeous quilts! Absolutely stunning!!

Lotti love the photos, as usual; you are so talented!

Barb & Dawn, I received your rows and they are amazing! I really will take photos soon....over the weekend my middle son decided to come down with Influenza Type A, and my oldest had his cough return with a vengeance, so we sought a repeat chest x-ray to make sure it wasn't the pneumonia coming back (got the all clear this morning), but that has kept me busy tending 2 sick teens and entertaining a forlorn & lonely younger one who misses his big brothers (who are of course home, but mostly sleeping...).

Today the flu child woke up sounding human again, and the coughing-but-not-pneumonia-relapse kid shared the surprising news he hadn't coughed yet, at all, all morning before he left for his class, so (fingers crossed) maybe we are on the mend.

Luann, I'll photograph all my rows together and post, as I don't think I kept up with my album and then I lost many of the individual photos when our computer crashed last year, so a new group shot will be best anyway. Good idea.

Wow . . .Geneva!!! I loved being able to see your quilts. All are just lovely and wonderful! Of course, my favorites are all the ones that shout with color! Lotti, your photos are amazing! You capture the best expressions with the animals and the floral photos provide such detail! I'm enjoying the row reveals too.
