Brenda, so sorry to hear what your family has gone through! I knew you were in a place where making rows was not top priority. I sent you a beach scene fabric, and stated that you can just send me any winter type fabric in return. Or even a piece of red fabric to be used along with the other fabrics that I have received. I'm going to use red for a scarf for a tall skinny snowman. No rush, tho. I hope life is better now, and that you get into your sewing room soon.
Limbania, how are things with you and your latest scan? We are all praying for you, and sending good thoughts and strong vibes!
Hugs to you both!
Dawn

Cathy, Kathy, and Brenda,
I haven't received from you ladies. No problem, but because Brenda asked, I checked on my collection. If you haven't started something already, I would very much like a strip of fabric that I could use for some 'off setting' in my design. Any size will work as long as it is 2" or wider. Make it something you would have enjoyed getting. Hope that takes some of the busyness out of your lives. And if you are just needing to take a pass on sending me something, that's quite understandable. Just let me know, so I can start on the project I want to put these into.
Thanks, Luann

Andree, glad to see you received your row from me
Brenda, I remember receiving a row from you early on, so all is good on my end. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your husband's sister & BIL, but so glad he's now back home with you and you can continue putting the house back together. Your new room will be lovely!

Dear Luann: Your row is finished! I'm doing the envelopes today. Thank you so much for your patience. Once I got going, this was lots of fun, but much harder than making a whole quilt! (What's the story behind the sandal as your avatar? Does it belong to a little one?) I plan to go to the P.O. tomorrow and will advise when I have done so!!!
All the best,
KathKatH

Those hexies were a major hold up! I had the idea fairly early on in the swap. I had them prepped and ready to sew on in Feb this year  and there they sat travelling back and forth with me as easy handwork that could be done anywhere, but did I feel like stitching them? Nope, they just looked at me, and I looked at them, for weeks! it was only after I decided to do an entry for FoQ again this year that I said to myself, 'get your rows finished first, you daft ha-porth!' And so I finally did. :woohoo:KatH

Kathy,
I'll be watching for it.
The sandal belongs to one of my grands. They sent me the picture because they knew I wear Birkenstock sandals, too. Then when I noticed my selfie kept turning sideways, I figured the sandal was a perfect image to use. It wouldn't matter which way it posted, it would be recognizable. Just my sense of humor, as I cope with the internet issues in life! LOL
Have a wonderful month.
I'm getting anxious to see the first 'finish' with this group!KatH

Thank you so much to all for the prayers, healing thoughts and love.
Good news today. Had an appointment with the Dr. and thank God there is no metastasis. So no traces of cancer were found anywhere else in my body. The only thing that appeared in the test was activity where the nodule with abnormal cells in the right breast is. The other good news is that both the Dr. and I noticed that the nodule is smaller than in the previous visit, two weeks ago, which means that the treatments I'm receiving are working. Also started a new treatment today to strengthen my immune system.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! Really appreciate your prayers and support. Hugs and blessing to all.KatH

Brenda, I'm sorry for the loss of your family members. Glad things are turning around and your husband is home now with you. I didn't get a row from you but no rush here.
Rosemary, thank you so much for the fabulous row. You're very creative. I will treasure those jewels for many years to come. ??
