Jen..loved your story! Reminded me of when my niece was only a year old, and we were at my brothers wedding....it was an outdoor wedding and everyone had a flower...of course she tried to eat it, and choked on it right in the middle of the ceremonyhmy: We have laughed about it for years!!!

those are lovely, Lotti!!
Yes, I am having great fun, both in sending & receiving. It's such a delight to find a package in the mail, but also to imagine the smiles when people receive what I send them. I am enjoying every minute of this! My passion really is in the designing, so it's been great fun for me to try and come up with things suited to the people I'm sending to, as much as I'm able with limited online knowledge....
..the ones I'm receiving I've tucked into a little tote bag and like you, I'll sort out how they go together once we're done swapping.

I finally have a picture to post of my row from Geneva. It is beautiful with bright colors. I love it. Thanks again, Geneva.
And here is a closeup showing her decorative stitching:
Here is a picture of the row I received today from Lotti. I love it too. I don't know if the colors are showing right, but it looks great with Geneva row. Thank you Lotti.
And finally the fabric I received from Terrie a couple of months ago. I love it Terrie. Red is one of my favorite colors.
I think I am finally caught with pictures. Had to go back to using my old camera that does not focus very well.

OK, here comes the update:
Marilyn: Your row is going into the mail today, hope you enjoy it.
Wendy: No row yet, but I will keep an eye out for it.
Dawn: I pulled a pattern for your row today and will cut out the pieces tomorrow night at work.
As for life in general my sister and I rented time on a long arm machine yesterday and got 2 quilts quilted. One was a quilt top from our grandmother and we believe it is around 50 yrs old. We took a break for lunch and Heather met up with us for a little Mexican food. What a great day it was. I will post pictures of the two quilts soon.

Cathy, glad you like the row. It was from my stash and I had to border it because the previously cut 4" squares were calling to be in the row! I used your row to practice sewing triangles onto squares for a baby quilt I wanted to make. I learned from your row to make the triangles bigger so I didn't have to match the points! I also was practicing using a fancy stitch and trying to turn on the points. I think I was mostly successful!
The baby quilt came out very nice, thanks to Cathy's row! I posted a picture of it on the virtual retreat a few weeks ago.
This is what I'm enjoying about these rows. Learning and trying new stuff!
Wendy, I made your row a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to send it to you. You are my May person I believe. I'll be leaving for vacation next week and will be back at the end of April. I'll post it when I return.
Thanks! genevaGeneva

Look what came from Limbania! I love it! These are some of my favorite colors and I love it on the creamy white background. Thank you Limbania.
I hope you and your son are feeling better Limbania. It seems lots of bad stuff has been going around this winter. Hopefully with the spring things will settle down.
