I used the jelly roll method. I cut strips from several favorite fabrics. Then I cut the same amount of strips from the black. It has grey oriental writing on it. I then sewed one favorite, one black, another favorite, another black, etc end-to-end. Then I did the jelly roll racing with that. I fmq it 2 1/2 years ago, while in GreenBay, WI. I used glide in a golden color, did a cursive L and loops. I really like how it turned out and it encourages me to just turn Abigail on and get to work!

Eek I'm a granny. Thomas Henry decided to arrive 2 weeks early and undiagnosed breech and didn't give them time for a C section. Gave them a scare for a few hours when he didn't breath he was taken away and they didn't hear anything. Alls well now and they are all recovering from the nights events.

Whew! All these early babies are scaring me! My daughter is due in 2 weeks with a breech presenting little boy. I am hoping that he turns so she doesn't have to have a C section! She's already quite a bit dilated, so who knows! I'm so glad Alfie and Thomas are doing well as well as their mothers.

LuAnn love your quilt! Rosemary your marbled fabric is very cool. Lotti, I hope your ear is better! That's no fun.

I've been working on Rows. I received a Go cutter for Christmas and have been playing with it. It really makes cutting quicker and easier.

[hide]Hi Terrie. I have two precious grandchildren. They were here after Christmas for a few days. Two days ago I cut my finger open on a food can and it required 4 stitches. I was bleeding quite a bit and said I needed to go to the er to have it checked out. My five year old granddaughter told me to "be macho Grandma!!!". I tried. [[/hide]
