I have just discovered that there is room for more quilts! It is just the right timing, since I returned today from a quilter's getaway for a weekend retreat! I'll be posting more soon.

Yes, but I've had to dig some out and measure! Some I have to guess because they are already in the possession of someone else! Some I can't remember where I got the pattern......one I just saw on a magazine cover years and years and years ago and copied as closely as I could from the photo. That was before I knew anything about copyright laws or quilting design or anything. I just wanted to see if I could make it!

Yes, I've learned alot.........................and much of it right here on this forum!

I just checked out the Quilt Gallery, and it was so much fun to see names that I recognize! I can see that a lot of my TQS friends are taking advantage of the new spaces.

I've been AWOL for a bit because of deadlines and was tickled pink to see the new spaces for more quilts. I was afraid it happened weeks ago and here it's brand new!!

This week has been almost as exciting when I first joined (Jan 07) the number of new quilts is phenomenal but unfortunately I see a lot of the names who have been here all along.

Hey newbies, It is easy to add a quilt and no one has ever been nasty (at least to me) mostly I have gotten really good feedback and information. Plus since I may never have nerve enough to enter a major show this is a place where others can see my quilts.

The inspirations that I have gotten from other people's quilts is amazing. I have come up with many ideas from others quilts. Not copies just inspiration.

So PLEASE JOIN IN AND POST YOUR QUILTS.

(I have an ulterior motive- I want to win the Rhapsody- so truth in advertising exists here) LOL

I posted another 6 quilts last night and now have 11 in my profile - how fun!!! (Thanks to all my TQS buddies who dropped me a note complimenting my early works!!!!!!!)

I am still trying to hunt down a picture of the quilt I made for my sister a couple of years ago. Margo's right! If I have made labels for all of them.... and took pictures and put into a quilt journal, I would be on top of all this info. But nooooooooo..... I always put off what I can do later... well, it's now "later" and I am hunting to try and recreate history :? ops:

Oh well, live and learn! Mary Kay

Its is so much fun to look at all the quilts in the profiles. Now if we could just get everyone to post photos, we would have a truly amazing quilt show to enjoy. There are 31,030 members. That would be 372,360 quilts if everyone posted 12! ( I have to admit I used a calculator to come up with that!). I just wish more would post their photos and make this the best and biggest quilt show ever. Marge

Marge, I could not agree with you more. The generic male or female face tells us nothing about a member. And one of the best things about this site is all the new friends I have made. Just this morning I got e mails from two people that I should be able to meet when I go to La Veta (one from England and one from La Veta itself) how cool, and where else would that ever happen. Thank you ARJJ and TQS you have enrichened my life in so many ways, Ann
