    red circles on forum

When logging onto the forum I used to see the circles in front of the different subjects colored red if there was a new post or if I hadn't finished reading all the posts under that subject. But about 2 weeks ago that ended and now the circles are all just blue.I realize there are other ways to find out what's new or unread but I liked seeing the red circles as it was just a quick way to view what ever I was interested in. Could anyone tell me what's going on? Thanks.

Julie, I've never really paid much attention to the circles, so I can't help you with that. Whenever I sign on to the forum, I always just click on "View New Posts" at the top of the page to see anything that has been posted since the last time I checked. Hope that helps you simplify your search.

This may be a question for John or Bob. I still see the red or blue circles when I log in.

I still see the circles as well. I don't usually use them--I use the new posts.

Then I wonder why some of the red circles have a rolling scroll and some do not. Surely, someone knows but I guess it doesn't matter as long as I can read it.

Ritzy, I think they 'scroll' when there have been a lot of messages posted to that thread.

Also, I forgot to sign in just now and went to the Forum as a 'Guest'. No red circles. They were all black. That may answer the original question.
