    Kathy McNeil, Show 1802

I LOVED this show, but then I love applique and landscapes. This will be one to watch over and over again.

I agree. It was a great show. Kathy McNeil has so much knowledge and is such an inspiration as well as just plain fun.
She was at our guild a couple months ago and seems like such a nice lady. Amazing quilts. Glad we have her DVD available. Thanks TQS.

The second segment was good too! Interesting she makes those star quilts with freezer paper and on her old Singer. I love my old Singers.

    I am on Inspiration Over-Load !

I really enjoyed this show too! I have been admiring art quilts at Paducah and other quilt shows and just didn't know where I would even begin if I wanted to make one or the tools to use. This show has given me the courage to jump right in. The section on stars and space was inspiring too. My father taught my siblings and I to watch the stars and National Geographic brought space photography to our home for us to study. Brought back memories! Wonderful show in all regards.

I did enjoy Kathy McNeil's show and although I liked the constellation quilter segment, I would have rather seen more of Kathy. I felt the same about Jenny Bowker's show. It would be great if we could see more of these kind of artists.
