    Show 1505 Priscilla Knoble

This show is great! Covers a lot of techniques. This is the 2nd time in 3 months I have heard of Yoko Saito. We have a guild member who has spent time in Japan and did a talk on Japanese quilts. The attention to detail, the classes where you are not allowed anything just 'good enough', it has to be re-done, the precise hand work. I wonder if the quilting universe is trying to get me to pay attention to the Japanese way of quilts. LOL

I love it when they sneak a new show in on a Sunday too!

I found the show fascinating. It was very good. I want to make some of her bags. Don't think I will use all the hand techniques.

Just watched this show, it is great. I guess I will have to google to find all the web sites, they were so fast I wasn't fast enough to write them down. Very inspiring show, thinking of doing houses for my kids of the childhood home, not 3D but put in a pillow. Jan

I loved the show also. I've been getting the Quilt Mania magazines and they often have things by Yoko Saito, so this was nice to see her work and know that someone is bringing it to us in English! I went to the publisher site and they direct you to the retail site which is Willow Lane I think. Lots of yummy stuff to look at, I think I will order the color theory book from her.

Wow. Thanks for a wonderful show. I have a couple of Yoko Saito's books and love the Japanese taupe color ways, but am amazed by what Priscilla has accomplished in her life. What a great introduction and I will also be using that pocket tutorial in my bags now. Would love to see more shows about Japanese quilts and techniques.
