I loved Tom's show too. I loved his ideas and techniques, but most of all his personality. After the show I subscribed to his blog. He is going to be teaching on a quilting cruise in Feburary 2013. I sure wish I could afford to go.

I am just putting that wish out there to the quilting gods! You never know!!!

Tom Russell posted a contest on his blog asking for suggestions for a name for a new design/pattern he was working on. I never heard if a winner was picked and did not see any follow up to the blog. Does anyone know anything about this??

I think something must have happened to Tom Russell. He just stopped blogging. Does anyone know if he's ok?

Tom is a VERY private person, but I think that it's OK to let you know that he has been VERY ill for several months.

I check his blog often for updates, and assume that when he's ready to come back, he will let us know.

Please respect his privacy and don't try to contact him until he is ready.

In which case I think he needs to be put on the prayer list, to help him back to good health, so that he feels fit enough to show that he is alive & kicking, as he wishes. I always enjoy his posts.

I was afraid that must be the case. Yes, we should pray for his recovery. Thanks Margo, I have been concerned for some time.
