Anna, I think that sometimes people are just busy. I read all the forum posts and all the members blogs but dont necessarily have time to comment myself. You can see by the numer of views that people are reading, but dont always feel the need or have the time to comment.

Problem is if we do not ask questions / post comments / encouragement... this forum will dry up and be come a ghost forum. It takes communication to keep a forum going.

I sometimes feel I talk (post) too much! I am a talkative person, and I like people. But, I agree the posting has really dropped off. Started about the time the kids all went back to school, and the last few days have really been slow! I know I was really busy with our quilt show! I'm sure there will always be ups and downs, just like everything else in life!

I'm just surfacing from a big work project (with almost no quilting time), and I'm really trying hard to get a quilt completed for our local quilt show (mid-October) -- it will be the first time I've entered anything, so I'm nervous -- so you won't be hearing much from me for a couple of weeks ...

I was gone on a weekend "back yard" getaway with hubby. Dinner, show " how to succeed in business without really trying" at Goodspeed Opera house, B&B, Essex Steam train and river boat ride, and Gillette castle, then home. Might go back in a couple weeks when all the leaves have turned. Now Im back to working on quilts, specifically one I was hired to make for a neighbor's Christmas present. It was a really nice change of pace.
