I'm excited about all the guests, but I'm particularly interested to see Judy Mathieson. It was her quilt "Nautical Stars" that first got me interested in the possibility of turning my love of sewing into quilting myself and my daughter-in-law (OriNebula) pulled me in the rest of the way. I always loved the way the stars seemed to float in space on that quilt. You all at TQS are doing a wonderful job in this venture, and I salute you! Cheers, BJ

Hi Sewdreamy,
http://web.mac.com/jackmathieson/Jud...n/Welcome.html
Nautical Stars is an amazing quilt.I could hardly believe it (probably 12 plus years ago) when I found out Judy Mathison would be teaching for a week on the island of Arran off the west coast of Scotland - just an hour on the ferry from where I live! I was so excited to find there was still a place left. There was only about 5 of us and we had a wonderful week - great company, food, wonderful studio - in a converted pig barn - and of course the very inspiring teaching of Judy herself. Unfortgettable.
