    Pins

    Hi, Alex keeps mentioning that she loves really good quality pins - I am in constant search for the perfect pin, and haven't quite got there yet.
    Does anyone know which pins are the ones that Alex like best?

    Thanks, Susan.

    The TQS Shoppe has the Clover glass head silk pins, here is the link;

    https://www.thequiltshowshoppe.com/?a=VP&id=200

    I usually get the glass head, 1 7/8" silk pins from Japan. My LQS carries them...I can't tell you the name because it's all in Japanese!
    I'm paraphrasing here, but Alen said to be sure and not scrimp...yes the glass heads are more expensive but you get what you pay for...I really like the thin shaft of the pin(less distortion when I'm sewing a seam)! And the heads don't pull off so easily(like the plastic head pins)
    Good luck on your quest!! Blessings, Debbie

        there are tons of different brands on the market - so get the ones that take your breath away when you see the price tag - also, I do not prefer the extra long pins - but the "regular " length ones.
