    Philippa Naylor

This may have been the best show yet! I can't believe how much I learned. I've only done trapunto once, but now I'm really inspired to do more. Her tips and tricks were fantastic. And, of course, her quilts are stunning. Thanks TQS for another great show.

Philippa Naylor was one of the judges when I entered a quilt for the very first time in a show. I was really impressed with her comments: A mixture of positive encouragement and constructive criticism. I have been a fan ever since.

Roll on Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, Uk, in August. Philippa will be there again. Two of my friends have been very lucky and got a place on her workshop. Can't wait to hear them telling me all about it afterwards over a few drinks.

        Really?

Yes, I'm one of the lucky ones, and after watching the show I'm even happier about it!

I agree, this was a WONDERFUL show. Phillipa's (sp?) expertise was amazing and her GRACIOUS personality make this a show that I will watch again.

I have already used one of her tips for machine quilting. She used a small piece of gripping shelf liner to hold a move the quilt. Since I was already quilting a rather large quilt, I tried it (using pieces of an area rug pad) and it worked beautifully! Can't wait to try the trapunto tips on my next quilt.

Lovely woman and terrific show! Kudos on the chapter sections also!

Really enjoyed this show. I recently did a bit of trapunto on a small quilt and I wish I had seen this show first. Her tips should make the next effort much easier and more pronounced! I enjoyed the peek into the next show and am eagerly awaiting it. TQS just keeps getting better!

Enjoyed this show a bunch...makes me want to try my hand at trapunto again. I once took a class, but it wasn't as well explained as Philippa's and none of the neat tips she gave to us. Her talk about Saudi Arabia made me nostalgic...it was a great place to live as an expatriot.

I got Phillipa's book back in November-I have not been able to get her quilts out of my head ever since! I just love her work. She seems so down to earth too.
This ranks right up there as one of my absolute favorites.

Great show. I'll be watching this one again, both for the lemoyne star tips & the trapunto demo. I already have a quilt in mind for the trapunto. Can't wait to try it!

This show set new standards for close up work on the machine. The tips that Phillipa gave were outstanding. I will be watching & using these techniques often. Bravo!

This was a great show and I had been looking forward to it for some time. I purchased Phillipa's book a while ago now and can say that it is very well thumbed!! Her quilts are just stunning.

I'm like my mother when she said that her favorite grandchild was the one she was looking at! -- every show is my favorite, but I have to agree, this one was especially good. I just hope that I can duplicate what she did, now!
