Amen!! Mary Kay, I agree -- this is my quilt guild and I'm getting sooo much from it. I know I should join the local quilt guild, but it certainly can't provide what TQS has! I've learned so much, and even if I'm not ready to try some (many?) of the things offered on the shows, they expand my horizons! I get seriously cranky on days I can't be checking TQS a couple of times (or more) a day. Keep up the good work, and I'm really glad to hear you're finally getting a paycheck, Ricky! I'm also self-employed, so I know how critical that is. Best wishes, Robin

From the initial vision Ricky, to what TQS has actually become, there is a world of wonderful things that have happened. Little did I know that, on that morning three years ago when I joined, I would be given so much more than I ever dreamed from this site. I celebrate TQS every single day, whether it be in learning something new, shedding tears for someone's loss, or celebrating over someone's joy.......my life is always touched in some way.
Although I know I don't have even a small clue about all that goes into it, I appreciate it all every day and would not consider giving up my membership!
I still go to my local Guild most months cause I like the people and am always amazed at how many don't know about TQS - so I get to tell them! It's a fantastic learning resource!

I just want to step in here and join in with the Amen croud. I am new to the site since I didn't have broadband access. Now I finally have it and love the site. Thanks to all of you who have worked hard to make this happen. I am very pleased with everything I have seen thus far.
Thank you!

I have been a member since July 2009 and I can only regret, that I didn't join before. Only excuse is that I did not know about it earlier.
It has been a change in so many ways and I appreciate everything. I have learned so much. I tell everyone just a bit interested about this wonderful family. I have found this topic at the Forum this morning and want to say I'm really happy that it seems you finally are earning money from the site. You really should because your idea is fantastic and everything is quality and it is CHEAP to be a member. Thanks a lot for offering all these wonderful opportunities.
I will be here as long as I can.

Ricky and Alex...I just love The Quilt Show and the forum. I belong to two other groups which I have kind of out grown. But TQS is mine forever. Keep up the good work and the great shows. Congrats to all the crew who help to make this such a good place to be. Nan

I'm a Star Member and feel that my money has been very well-spent. I, too, pass along the six-month membership gifts and have encouraged additional friends to join. So glad for your initial vision and your openness to new ideas. Your impact on the quilting scene will be ever-lasting. Thanks so much for all of your hard work -- and thanks to the sponsors who have made it possible!

I really don't know what I can add to all the comments already posted. I live in a rural community and would never be able to travel to all the wonderful classes you've shown over the years. I can pull them up any time I want to, over and over again. I've learned so much . . . not only from this web site, but web sites referred to by members to offer help to someone who had a question "how do you . . . . . .?". The quilt gallery has given me so much inspiration - I have quite a list of "quilts I want to do someday". It has taught me so much. I'd drop all magazine subscriptions before I'd cancel this membership.

I have been a member from the very beginning. In the early days (before the first shows) there were forum entries and chat lines and meeting new people who became friends. Today, I read the Daily Blog daily, keep up on the Member Blogs and the Forum as much as I can. The Quilt Gallery is also a favorite. I still love everything about TQS, especially the friends that I have made here. And I appreciate the sponsors (what would we and TQS done without them)> My only "problem" is that TQS has gotten "SO BIG" that it takes up so much of my time that some days it is either "quilt time" or "TQS time". What a problem????? So thank you ARJJ and all of the sponsors for your vision. I love this site and even though some days I have to ignore you to get other things done, I will never leave you. THANK YOU THANK YOU over and over again for being my support group and quiling guild for these past few years. I look forward to the future with great anticipation. Hugs and Love to all at ARJJ, Ann

I also have been a member from early days and love it more each time I visit. Like Ann, I have to miss it sometimes when "life" gets in the way, dern it, :-) but I won't give it up. If I miss the shows, I know I'm going to get them on the DVD at some point but I hate it when I have to miss them. This is the only guild that I have and I love love love it. It's so wonderful to "know" so many supper people. Thank you Ricky and Alex and everyone involved for this wonderful concept and sharing it with us. Y'all did good! :-) Hugs to y'all from Texas!
