    "Preview" Shows

Hello. I am thinking about becoming a full member of this site because so far, I like what I see. The only thing I havent seen yet is an actual show. Does anyone know if there is a show that I can "preview" without being a full member? Thanks in advance!

Don't know. Just jump in and join. You don't know HALF of what this site offers! There's nothing like it!

I'm sure that somewhere they announced that there is a free show that people can see but I can't remember where. I would certainly recommend joining, lots to do, wonderful show even if not all of them suit your taste, great value for money and huge discount on the series DVDs. Maggi

I think this site is the best place for quilters to exchange information and get to know each other on a personal level.

I have series 2 of the quilt show. They had a sale and I purchased series 1, 3 and 4 along with Ricky's CD.

They are giving us a lot of information on quilting and a place to get to know one another.

This is the best place early in the morning when everyone in still in bed.

I've been a member from the beginning and I still enjoy it as much as I did in the beginning. There are SO many wonderful features and places to go on this site--and friends to meet (Hi, again, Joanne--we got to meet in person this weekend at the Ricky Tim's Seminar in Downey, CA) Also, I have always found the shows to be so professionally executed and ALWAYS in good taste with so much fun thrown into the mix! I'm always encouraging quilters to join--and I'm glad you joined, too! Welcome!!!

Hey, Judy and JoAnne, did you have fun? How much stuff did you buy? How did you two meet up? I am so jealous. I would have loved to have been there, too. I was at a LQS retreat all weekend. Judy in AZ

Hi, Judy! Yes, I had a great time at the Ricky Tim's Seminar this last weekend!!! Joanne finally found me at registration--it was really nice to meet her! I worked in the store and Justin & Pat were the "managers" of the store--they're really nice! It was alot of fun and I learned alot at the Seminar. Yes, I did buy alot--5 yds. of the beautiful hand-dyed fabric, the Convergence book, 3 CD's, Libby's book, etc. I also bought Alex's new 4-in-1 tool--can't wait to use it! Ricky gives all the volunteers a really nice coupon to use in the store, too!!! My husband really enjoyed the concert, too! Judy in Torrance

Hi Judy and Judy! I was wonderful meeting you at the Seminar, Judy! Such a treat! I did spend quite a bit. I had decided that I really didn't need more fabric but couldn't resist buying 15 yards of Ricky's gorgeous fabric. I couldn't leave all of it for everyone else.

Even though I had gone to the Seminar in San Diego almost three years ago, I learned a lot. It was so much fun. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity, to attend one of Ricky's seminars. He's a super teacher and it's fun to listen to Alex and Libby!

Maria, welcome! Look around and have fun! I love the Quilt Gallery and have learned so much from other members in the Forum.

JoAnne in southern California where it's been raining! Hooray!
