    Laurie Swim

I am very new to quilting so I'm not sure exactly how many Canadian quilters you have ever featured, but there is one from Nova Scotia named Laurie Swim who does fantastic art quilts. I got the opportunity to see a piece of her work at the Mahone Bay quilting guild when visiting my sister last year and it was incredible. Thought I'd mention her name and maybe one of these days I'll get to see her on one of your shows!

Laura, you might want to drop a suggestion to the CONTACT link on the bottom purple bar. They don't usually moniter the forum.

My sister adores her! When I met her (Laurie) I really had no idea who she was, as I was just starting to get interested in quilting. It just amazes me how beautiful the art quilts are that people do. I had no idea that they even existed! It opens up a whole new world.
