    Episode 402 - Sue Nickles

Another successful show! I really found Sue's use of Lite Steam a Seam handy, a great way to reduce bulk on appliqué. I appreciate the steps shown for accurate placement and keeping the blocks neat and tidy. I've been wondering how to achieve the wonderful looking applique - now I'm one step closer.

I loved this episode with Sue. But it took alot of sticktoitiveness to finally be able to view all of it. I had to watch it 3 different days.... it would lock up at different sections each day..... but I finally saw all of it and it was great!

This was one of my favorite TQS shows. I learned so much! I have already watched it twice and will be seeing it again. Thank you TQS and Sue Nickles.

I saw Sue in person at a quilt show in Somers, NY a few years ago. She's just as personable as I remember. I LOVE her quilts!!!

I was sooooo fortunate to be in the audience when this show was taped!!! WOW!!! I sooooo enjoyed learning Sue's techniques and I am planning to try her techniques on the '08 TQS BOM (since I just couldn't get to the point that I enjoyed the hand applique). I haven't watched this show on line yet, but am REALLY looking forward to seeing it!!! YEAH TQS!!! MK

To me this was by far the best show. Sue really explained her technique well and gave out so much information. She is a terrific teacher. I have her book and took it out to read through it and intend to use her techniques on a quilt that has applique blocks on it. Well done! Superb!

Speaking of sewengel -- LOL we did have a good time there. I am in the bright peachy sleeveless top 2 seats down from Dana. We all had lunch together and many laughs. It really was a fun show and lots of goodies.

I loved being in the audience for this show....spending the day with Mary Kay was the best and then getting to meet Sharon and have lunch with her was such fun. Sue did a beautiful job as you all saw on the show. I love her techniques and use several of them a lot.

Wow another great show. This really has me jazzed to try some stuff. Thanks Sue for all the great info. And Ricky, I'm SO going to try the embroidery to embellish my 2008 BOM. Thanks so much for the great ideas and instruction!
