What a terrific show. I was fusing before the sun went down. Small problem for a novice fuser - how do you get the gunk off your iron. OOPS.

I tried acetone and Goo Gone, neither of which would cut it. I would welcome any suggestions.

Sally I saw on Sharon Schamber's website that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser takes the gunk off an iron. I haven't tried it yet.

I've heard that ironing over a dryer sheet removes it also.

Thanks very much for the tips. The dryer sheet removed the glue, although it did take more than one. I have a lot to learn about fusing - maybe I could get into the remedial class My first project came out wonderful, but the wreckage was considerable.

Life on the learning curve - is in session!

I tried the magic eraser this evening. It works great. Just don't forget to spray water on the eraser.
