Eileen - I had to chuckle  when I read this. It reminded me of when I was in the first or second grade (long, long time ago) and I colored the animals outside the line and the teacher said "no, no, no, that's not the way we do it!" I didn't see why I had to stay in the lines ... We were going to cut out the animals anyway!! no one would see the color outside the lines. I have loved art work all my life and it seems like every now and then someone says 'No, no, that's not the way to do it, even in my art quilt group. Some don't always understand why I paint on fabric so much. At TQS I feel that there are many, many that understand and encourage all of us to jump out of our box and dance.
I'm dancing with my paint brush and needle, Carolyn

              Carolyn,
Don't forget to also post your quilts in the Gallery. I thought it happened automatically, but it doesn't.

Guess I'll jump in here too. My name is Mary and I am an addict. I love TQS so much that my quilting has suffered - but I'm not complaining. I check out the daily blog, member blogs, and quilt gallery every momning first thing and save the forum for night when everything is quiet. Like Ann said, some of the shows haven't piqued my interest like others, but all have been great. I'll probably never hand quilt either and maybe never make a rhapsody, but I have devoured every segment on these subjects. Keep up the good work ARJJ, hopefully for many years to come.

Carolyn, they are lovely. I love the sunsets. I'm real partial to sunsets. I'm also a photographer and I love sunsets. I'll have to post a couple of pictures that I took at sunset. Try to do that tomorrow. One is in Sedona, the other in Yosemite. A good sunset with a reflection will get me any time.
Frances in Austin and I can't sleep so I came here

I just got my DVD of the first season and I am really MAD... I WANT MORE QUILTING INFORMATION... THE SHOW SHOULD BE TWO HOURS instead of just an hour. I want hundreds of more quilting tips and quilting they are great.

I am not an art quilter but I like looking at their quilts and think this wll help me be a more adventuresome in my quilting. I love all the new techniques. MORE QUILTS, MORE QUILTERS.

I can hardly wait until the next DVDs are released. I hope they sell the DVDs in stores be cause that will really grow this site so we get closer to the 50,000 membership. I AM HAVING A BLAST WATCHING THE DVDs.

Lady Rags - I agree with you..... Sort of......... If we had anymore to watch when would we find the time to quilt??? I also have my DVD and between watching it and watching series 2 and reading the forum cuts into my actual sewing time. I also have soooo........ many new ideas in the last month from TQS I don't know when I will have time to do them all.... Oh, what a nice problem

When I first get a DVD I just watch it from start to finish then I watch repeatedly.

I watch my quilting DVD at night instead of the TV shows I do not care about... I often fall asleep to them.. My TV DVD shuts itself off with SLEEP MODE...... I also have them on when I am sewing.... I listen more than watch during those time but the DVDs help keep me on track.

I do have a large collection of quilting DVDs ... sewing with Nancy... F&P, the new releases by C&T publishing... you could say they are my addiction.
