I finally have my Colorful Rhapsody in the quilt machine, with backing and batting. I was hoping to get it quilted by Friday to enter into our guild quilt show. I am sorry to say I don't think I will get it finished.
I also have to make one mug rug for guild challenge, and two pot holders to donate. All due at noon on Friday. I will continue to try to get things done, but between jury duty, babysitting, and taking my SIL to doctor it seems impossible. I do have two other quilts to enter into the show, so it isn't so bad. One of those only has a forth of the binding stitched down. Another thing to do! Busy week!!! I just wanted to show off my Rhapsody.

You are so busy! What a shame not to be able to show off your Rhapsody quilt yet. I really don't see how you are going to get all that done in time. Your machine will be smoking.
Hope your other quilts are much admired. We will admire your Rhapsody quilt until you get a chance to show it

I did not get the Rhapsody done, but I entered the other two quilts in the show and each won a third place ribbon. I was pleased with that. It is a small show (90 entries), but they had some beautiful quilts there. Things should slow down for me for awhile. I am glad for the time to rest. I am planning on how to rearrange my sewing area. That is always fun to plan, but work to do. :lol: One of my daughters, a teacher, gets finished with her school year this Friday. My DGC don't get out until the next week, so DD will come help me move things around. I don't think I told her that yet, but she won't mind.
We never get to spend much time together anymore. Her being married, having 8 children, and working full time might have something to do with that. Anyway, we are looking forward to next week.
