Hi Christine, thank you so much. I just bought some Ombre fabrics yesterday to work with. I have the other lessons almost ready to go - had to go and buy some more suitable fabrics (that was such a trial ). I have really enjoyed the classes and they have made me think and rethink which has been very good for my lazy brain. As for the coffee - well that will have to happen when you come visit Ireland - I know a great place with magnificent views and good food.

Christine I also want to thank you for your great classes! I still need to do the last couple of lessons, but will definitely get them done to keep in my new color folder!
Do let me know when and where (around the world!) we will meet for coffee!
Hugs.....

Christine, this was a joy of a class and the fact that you checked our homework made the learning experience so much more valuable--the feedback makes an immense difference especially for a subject which is not as intuitive for some folks. I've looked at color theory from a few different viewpoints and even taken an online class for quilters specifically, but with your class, this is the first time that a lot of concepts became clearer. Part of it is practice, but a big part of it was your explanation of what kinds of colors and values go where to get the best result for the effect you were teaching. I really soaked this up and want to keep working with your concepts. I've signed up for your newsletter, I've been working through your book (was it luster that was missing from this edition?) and I look forward to your next publication (I hope you do continue to publish). I also hope our paths cross in the future--would love to meet with you over coffee! But for now, I wish you fair winds and following seas with my thanks for a great class!
A big hug!
Renata

Christine, thank you for a wonderful class. I haven't done any of the suggested exercises but, I've been watching the videos, seen the show and tell entries and followed this thread. I'm planning on watching the videos again and do the exercises with EQ or Bernina V6 program. I got your book and some ombre fabrics that I'm using in a quilt I'm working on. Seen the feedback you've provided has helped me a lot too. You're a wonderful teacher. I also love your vests.
I signed up for your newsletter and will keep an eye on the retreats. Will see if I could be able to attend one of them, if it works with DH work schedule/itinerary. Maybe then we can have some coffee, or if you're ever in the Phoenix Metro area, let me know
