I've been playing with a picture of youngest son

Now for the scarey bit adding features to him and Gizmo!

I've resized picture but it's still coming out big, sorry.

Wow! That looks great, Wendy! At some point I want to make a quilt from a picture of my dog. I've piced the picture, but haven't had time to try it yet.

        So many projects planned...............

You should make time to quilt your dog, that's special.

Wow, that is impressive Wendy; even though it is not something I fancy trying for myself.

                Thanks

I think it may be one of those projects that need contemplating. Off to do a search

Wendy, BTW that "One of these days..." was referring to me, not you! in hoping to try a portrait... just not sure if it's going to be in the cards for me with so many things I want to learn.

I have a very long list and when I get the fabric and ready to make a long wanted project I stop and think and decide I don't want to any more and get on with the one that's recently burning into me. I do have quite a few unmade patterns I buy at quilt shows ops:

Does that mean you also have a bit of a fabric stash too? Just trying to rationalize my growing fabric collection and I only got interested in quilting about two years ago...

Don't we all  Two years is a lot of fabric shops and shows. Buying fabric is good..........don't feel guilty just get it out, stroke and sniff it and it'll have earnt its place in your stash.
