Maybe when all of us gals who are listed as men get turned back into women officially, the Karma thing will work itself out, or disappear. I should probably have negative karma 'cus I'm not happy that even after all this time, TQS thinks I'm a man. I know we try to encourage males to quilt, but if they thought TQS would turn them all into females, they might not be too encouraged. My DH doesn't even like to try my hand cream because he thinks he might start growing boobs! LOL
That's it for tonight.

Personally, Kathy, I don't mind what gender you allocate to me, as long as I can learn how to use the more important parts of the new site. It's just amusing. I find modern technology challenging at the best of times and have little time to 'play' for hours in order to work out something new or different. So, right now I feel somewhat disconnected from my friends, because I can't handle things the way I did with the old board. Ah well, I'll get there...... eventually. From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

Webmaster Bob fixed the gender issue! One bug down, a few more to go. I send him messages to let him know what's wrong or what people would like to see. He will get to them when he has the time. Things will eventually smooth out.
Lorchen - is there something in particular that I can help you with? I'm here to help!

Thanks for the offer, Kathy! It's much appreciated and I'll let you know if/when there is anything specific. I'm generally a very patient woman, but there is also a severe shortage of spare time in my life at the moment, so I can't spend as much time 'playing' with the new site as I would like to. Hopefully that will improve in the new year. My life has changed suddenly and quite dramatically recently (all good!), a little like this site.
If I ever meet 'Bob the Site Builder', I'll treat him to a large single malt, because sprinkling happiness over a large number of quilters, most of them female, some pms-ing at any one time, ain't easy! From the edge of Sherwood Forest, home of Robin Hood

Haha, Lorchen! You are so right. Reminds me of when HGTV eliminated Simply Quilts from their programming in the states after years of reruns. What they didn't realize was that we were all very content to watch reruns over and over and over. One quilter wrote in to the network to complain and remind them that a lot of us were menopausal, with rotary cutters, and we knew how to use them!hmy:
