If you have it, it is at the bottom of the page, in the center, just above preference info. The full editor is on the left-hand side at the bottom.

Could it be that it depends on the PC, tablet, and or browser one is using?
On my iPad I have both buttons, as far as I noticed, always. I'll have to note it when I use my pc.

Whenever I've looked, I've always had the "Quick Reply" button. I use Firefox on both Windows XP and Linux.

For those of you with out a Quick Reply Box, I took a screen shot of a forum post to show you where it is. I still have no idea why some posts have it and some don't.

Do you see it there on the center bottom on a light blue bar? You probably have to click the picture to get it large enough to actually see and read it.

Yup! I don't have one. Michelle, It looks like you've taken advantage of learn how to do screen shots. My daughter taught me that a week ago and I have already forgotten. If you don't use it you loose it. Good for you to put it to use.

I have always had the quick reply button. I use a PC windows 7. I have it both when I use internet explorer and when I use google. I have never used that button though.

This is how my screen looks. I use the purple Tara style, but I don't think it has to do with that.
I use Windows 7 and Google Chrome

I use my IPad most of the times to get to TQS and pretty much anything else for that matter.

To get a screenshot, simultaneously press and release both, the menu button (the main button below the screen)and the power/lock button (the switch on the top edge of the device). The screen will go blank for a second and you'll hear a camera shutter noise.
The screen shots you take are automatically saved in the default Photos app under an album called "Saved Photos" or "Camera Roll" depending on your device. From there you can e-mail, post, edit. Etc.

This doesn't work on the 1st gen iPad, since that one doesn't have a camera but, works on all other versions and iPhone also.

Well, well, well, I just changed to the 'prosilver style and lo and behold I have a quick reply button where I didn't have one before. I had been using the Tara style like you Norma. I guess it does make a difference.

Way to go, Rita! That may be the answer! To change the "style" of the forum page you can select from the drop-down menu at the upper right of the screen.
