You'll. have to wait with me... And hope it gets here by Friday, I'm off to china for an exhibition on the weekend and won't return before the 22nd... Hence, having the parcel shipped to the office, don't want to risk it being returned to Alex just because I wasn't here to pick it up from the post office within the time limit...

some idiot wrote a whole post - pictures and everything - and then closed the internet connection before submitting...
wonder who she is? probably my jet-lagged twin

          Package is here...

          package open...

the secret is out: Alex's favorite (or at least one of Alex's favorite) fabric:
ALEXANDRA by Alex Anderson - P&B Textiles (2006)
I AGREE - FABULOUS - and just the right colors for me!!!

now what to do with this fabulous fabric? HMMMMMMMM? THINK THINK THINK
I know: wash, starch, iron and then think, play, fondle, and think some more...

and.... there's more - lots of goodies in this package:

the yardage of the fabulous Alex fabric mentioned and shown above
and 11 (yes eleven) of Alex Anderson Classic Quilt Patterns
now who's doing the happy dance - I AM!!!
i had posted the names of all the patterns - but that got lost in my previous mess-up - and now they're in the trunk of my car waiting to go home together with the fabric and the other suitcase that my colleague brought home from china for me, (he left a day earlier so i gave him a suitcase with stuff - mostly my dirty laundry  - and i carried home all the devices and things that we needed at the exhibition till the last moment... ) - so - i'll post the pattern names tonight or tomorrow - taking the day off tomorrow - gotta sleep - get my brain back (and do the laundry  )

was this package worth waiting for?
          YOU BET!!!!
worth every minute and every penny of the customs fees & more!!!

don't forget to enter those quizes on TQS - there's always a winner - and sometimes it's one of us
and... we're all winners - just by being part of TQS and this fabulous family of quilty friends!
          :P

So happy for you, Lotti! What fun to get a package when you don't know what's in it! I see that the Aurifil postal tape must have just been a tease, but made up for by a wonderful collection. I'm also glad to perceive that you're feeling a bit better
