    Signatures on The Forum

I posted this info on another topic, but thought it might be good to repeat it with it's own category so it would be easier to find.

OK! I have a feeling that there will be questions about my signature! If you want to create one for yourself here's how to do it.
    Go to http://www.mylivesignature.com/

    Click: "Click here to start"
You can either register (they will save your signature) or just proceed.
Click: "Use the signature creation wizard"
step 1: fill in your name (click "next step")
step 2: select the font you want to use (click "next step")
step 3: select the size you want to use (click "next step")
step 4: select the color you want to use (click "next step")
Click on "transparent" to avoid a white box around your name and click around in the large square until
the color you want shows up in the second rectangle.
step 5: select the slope you want to use (click "next step")

Click: "Want to use this signature?"
Click: "Generate BB code" (this is the format needed to post it in a forum)
You can either generate just your signature or do the one below it with added information.
    Click: "Generate code"
Copy the code and Paste it into the TQS text box for your signature.

Open the TQS Forum page and click on "User Control Panel" at the top left of the page.
    Click on "Profile"
    Click on "Edit Signature"
Paste your BB code into the text box. Be sure that there is NOT check mark in the box labeled "Disable BBCode"
Click Preview to make sure it's right.
    Click Submit.

Return to the "User Control Panel"
    Click on "Board Preferences"
    Click on "Edit Posting Defaults"
Click on "Attach my signature by default"

You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect, but is this KOOL, or WHAT!!

EDITED: Frank has figured out how to add a signature to your Member Blog as well as your forum posts!

Marilyn, go back through the directions and on the page where you select the color, mark the top box that says "transparent".
