    Fan quilting template search

    Hi
Could anyone advise me where I could obtain a set of "Jim's Fan Quilting Templates" please. Maybe you have seen them in your local store.
I need mail order as I live in the UK so location really doesn't matter
    Thank You
    Sandra Haynes

Have you thought about looking for a 12" ruler. I have seen rulers that have little holes down the center that would do the same thing. Or purchase a wooden ruler and drill small holes however far apart you want your fan quilting lines to be. Or in the USA when you purchase paint they give you wooden paint sticks to stir the paint with. You could mark it and drill holes with small drill bit or even use a nail to punch holes. Sandy

          Hi Sandy
Thanks for responding. what a clever idea with the wooden ruler.
I was going to attempt making my own with template plastic but rather have the real McCoy.
We have just returned from USA but never looked for paint ~well you dont whilst on vacation!! thanks

            http://www.anitashackelford.com/quilting_templates.html

if you look down the page there is a Perfect Fans and Shells stencil

So you would get many stencils in one.

I have used both options many times

            Hope this helps
