Well, today it's my day! It was very nice of the people at the International Quilt Festival to schedule their Chicago show right near my birthday -- it makes shopping easy for my husband -- he just gives me cash for the show. Get ready vendors -- I'll be there this weekend with my b-day money!

Gee it's been a long time since anyone's had a birthday! What, are the rest of you not aging :wink: :?: Please, share your secrets, b/c today is MY birthday! :!:
I'm hoping for some sewing time but my big sis is taking me to lunch & some "girl-time" and (in the US) it's Memorial Day weekend so lots going on around town. Didn't get my hoped-for machine time last night, instead sat w/ Mom for 4+ hours at hospital while she got a transfusion, but we had fun talking about how we were together in the hospital 49 years ago :shock: :lol: Learned that my Dad left my sis, then age 2, at home alone while he delivered Mom to the hospital, left her there (of course, that was probably the norm back then) and went home to sleep!
Anyway, 4 hours makes for good BOM progress, still looking on target to finish before June!
