LOL still in Russellville AR. They renewed hubby's contract for another 6 years, and I said "That's it! I need a house"!

Yes the tables are the pits, but I have my machine on the very end so the bounce is pretty minimal, it's just a temporary solution thank heavens.

I have a bouncy table too - how do you deal with it? I just turned down my speed, but sometimes I want to go full tilt. :?

You could get some plastic drawer sets, and put wood on top so it is flush with your table perhaps?

At some of the LQS classes I have seen people put the "spongy" shelf-liner material under their machines to lessen the vibrations. I also learned that the vibrations really effect the BSR if one is using that. I haven't tried using this yet- Only because i keep forgetting about it- LOL-- But now maybe I can remember to give it a try.

Congratulations on your new home CJ!

If you go to my site http://www.patrickthomson.com/krisquilt.html you can see pictures of the way I wish my quilt room now looked.....When my husband designed our "final", I hope, home the specifically designed this room for my sewing studio........It now looks completely cluttered, but I know where almost everything is........

Kris, that is quite a sewing room (STUDIO) you have, and I loved all your quilts.

Thanks LOL. It's been a struggle to focus on unpacking and setting up house instead of wallowing in the bliss of having all my sewing stuff out and easy to access... and I'm starting to lose the battle... LOL
