    Young quilter's blogs

Can you help me? My quilt guild is creating a student membership and offering reduced yearly dues with a student ID. And, I am working on a letter to go out to schools with all the info. I would like to include blogs by some young quilters, hoping that some young sewers and artists would find what other young quilters are doing today exciting. I am sure some of you know some bloggers who could serve as inspiration to the 8 to 25 year old quilter.
If you do know of some great blogs...please let me know. Thank you!

What about Leah Day? She is doing a great machine quilting blog and she posts almost daily.
I just google her name or "365 machine quilting patterns" since that is the name of her ambitious project.

I hope you'll also consider young students that are homeschooled and may not have a public school ID. I have taught beginning sewing to kids and all were homeschooled.

Joyce...I am sure that no eager young student, ID or not, would be turned away. Thank you for reminding me of that. We want to encourage young quilters!
While writing this I remembered a TQS show with a mother and daughter. Or, was the daughter on the show and they were talking about her mother? I'll go back and find that episode and put their info in the letter. Add it to the names members have already mentioned. Thank you everyone!

Thanks! That just caught my eye that you were requiring a school ID.

I also thought of the Modern Quilt guild sites. They are more college age & young 20's but I love the fresh approach they have to quilting.
