    Janome Artistic SD-16

I am looking for insights from people who own this machine.
I tried one out at an AQS show and would like to know more about
it, however, no dealers in my state have one on the floor to try out!

Any pros or cons would be appreciated! I do have a dealer in my
area who could service this machine but I'm not going to buy a machine
    without knowing more about it!

Is there a place on line I can download a user's manual?

    Thanks so much!

I don't have the Artistic, but I have owned 2 Janome machines, a 6500 and a year ago purchased a 9800. I have been very happy with both of them. As I recall there was a comparison of the 9400 and 9800 of features. You might try to see if there is a Janome chat site and ask your question there. Just an FYI I do believe they are a workhorse of a machine.

Let us know what you decide.

I also like sewing clothes, especially children's clothes, but I'm not a professional. I have a sewing machine Janome 2212 http://bestsewingmachinesguide.com/b...for-beginners/. I want to say that I am very pleased with it, it can adjust the width and stitch length, and the length of the stitch, and in general it is light and convenient for mastering all the basics of sewing.
