Lotti I am so happy for you. You aren't going to know what to do first, touch everything.....read the book..........sew something.......embroider something....OH MY!!!!! That's kind of where I still am. Soon as I get my fathers estate wrapped up and can stay home long enough I plan to make a quilt, embroider towels, and my list is like a mile long. Goodness I haven't even worked my way through the book that comes with the machine. Oh, and if you get the software make sure you get plenty of ink cartridges and paper cause it's a big book, LOL!!
Congrats and feel better soonLyndhurst, Ohio USA - East Side Suburb of Cleveland, Ohio

have opted not to purchase the SW yet - i did not really want the embroidery module - but the 820QE would have been more expensive than the full version - no demo models of the 820QE as they do the training on the full version...
but think it won't be long till i do the SW too - will see how far i get with doing the designs in illustrator and having my colleague convert them as she has the full sw...
the main embroidery design i need is our company logo - and that she has already converted - and as i've been asking her to embroider this... and that.... and could you...
i think she'll volunteer to bring me the design as soon as she knows i have my own machineLotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland

Sharon, I am sorry about to hear about your teeshirt embroidery, but couldn't resist a laugh.   That's one mistake you'll never make again :!:
Lotti, Congratulations on your new baby too.  I hope that your flu goes away soon and you'll be back to your old self.
Sending healing thoughts your way.

After having my B830 LE for nearly a year now I decided to rewatch the mastery classes and see what I might be missing while I've been battling a stupid cold. Wow! These are wonderful way to get the most out of your machine. I haven't finished rewatching them, but already I see things here and there that I was missing. I love my 830 and have not had any problems with it so far. The thing about watching these videos is that they make you inspired and interested in using some of the things on the machine you may not have done yet. You can find them here: http://www.exnovodesign.com/830.html I downloaded them to my own computer for convenience. Just thought if you have an 820 or 830 and haven't yet watched these videos you might want to.

I'm still waiting... Technician only received some of the vital new pets yesterday and couldn't finish setting up and testing my new bernie... Now he's off on vacation for a week.. So I will have to wait at least another ten days or so... Worse things could happen. Better to wait a bit longer and have a perfectly set up machine when Bernie comes home.
Thank you for this great link BJ. I have subscribed and started viewing last night.Lotti, Kuessnacht - Switzerland
