    Bernina Videos

Just wanted to say Thanks to TQS and Bernina for the new series of Bernina Videos.

These short bits of inspiration are great to "wet the appetite" for using some of our already purchased feet we have. And to allow us to quickly see if the project shown is "food for thought" as we continue in this hobby.

I really enjoy being able to watch these in my own home. They have inspired me to purchase feet that I might not have used before and while I'm sure that is the reason Bernina makes them I do feel the company wants us to reap all the benefits of our machines. And I might add these are wonderful techniques to use with any machine as most have the same type of feet.

Thanks again Bernina and TQS for airing these videos. I'm looking forward to this new group.

I'm also very glad to see more Bernina Videos. They are wonderful teaching tools, and have shown me how to better use the feet that I do have, as well as some that I could really use in my sewing and quilting projects. Thanks again to everyone involved!

I follow the Bernina Videos with great interest, but the one with the #20 open toe foot makes me wonder. I always learned that when you use the double needle you must separate the threads to go on either side of the thread tension, to put tension on both threads. It's my experience that this is essential. It is not pointed out in the video, not mentioned at all.

We just an evening with the bigwig Bernina Educator for Canada, who was terrific by the way & when she used the #20 foot, she separated the threads.

I've always separated threads at the tension disks for a double needle also.
