Patchwork Foot #57 -- Worth purchasing?

I have both 37 and 57 feet, I mainly use the 57 for regular piecing and love it, but the 37 is more than adequate and if you need bobbins, I'd say get bobbins first, they're more useful.

It all depends on the size of your feed dogs. My 435 has 9mm feed dogs and the #57 won't work. I really like the #37 and have one for my 210 and 435 Berninas. Judy in Torrance

Judy, my dealer gave me the 57 foot when I bought my 9mm Bernina. I asked her about it because I had heard that it would damage your feed dogs. She swears it will not and even warranties that if there is ever a problem she will fix it for free. I've been using it now for over a year with no ill effects. She's been doing it for years and years and has never had a problem.

I purchased the 37 foot also because I'm a foot addict and one can never have enough feet! :wink: I like them both.
