    The 1/4 inch circle thingy!!

I thought I saw something that looks like a small little circle disk thingy. It has a hole in the center for you to put your pencil and mark around your applique so you can do echo quilting!! Has anyone seen this before? I can not find it anywhere, but I know I have seen it!! Thank YOU!!

Damaris, I know what you are talking about, I have one from years ago, just do not know where it is a the present time. I know it is in one of the many boxes around here. Also I do not know who made it, or where I got it. (That was in the late 80's). We used it to add 1/4" seam allowance when drawing the design on the fabric, before cutting it out.

Damaris, I was given one of those little metal disks when I started quilting. I was told: 'Every quilter must have one!' I admit that I have never even taken it out of it's packaging, and I'm not sure in which drawer or box it is in. If you have problems finding one, let me know, and I'll find mine and pop it in the post for you.

I have one called "Quilter's Disk". I've had it for a while. On the back of the package it says it's made by The Quiltery, Spartanburg, SC 29304. Good luck in your quest
