    Come and sing with me......

To the well-known tune of 'What a difference a day makes.....'

In my case it's 'What a difference 10 months can make.....', and I don't mind showing off. I have just booked a holiday for August 2014 that involves a flight, and I can tell you now, I won't be needing an extension belt on the plane.

A friend just asked me for a 'before' and a 'now' picture to show to her sister, so I thought I'll let you see them too.

Lorchen, you sure are looking good, girl!!! You realise that I am likely to walk straight past you at the NEC this year ;-) I wouldn't really because I know that I would recognise your smile anywhere. How great that you are having a real holiday next year. Any hints as to where you are going to?

Looking good there Lorchan. With your neck getting slimmer will you need to start getting your necklaces shortened as well as taking in your trousers?

                  Thanks everybody!

Rosemary, some necklaces fit again, for the first time in about 20 years or more.

The trip in August 2014 is a little like 'back to my roots'. I'm flying to Prague and then travel some of the Czech Republic and a big chunk of East Germany, ending up in Berlin for a meeting with my only cousin who I have not seen for nearly 40 years. My grandmother took me to some of the places I'm going to when I was a child, and I have not been back since. Can't wait. It's a really big deal for me.

If anybody wants a 'buddy' to help keep them on track if they feel they need to make some life style changes in order to get healthier, I'm available.
