Welcome back Lorchen. Glad to hear from you again. Wonderful news about your continued weight loss with a normal BP. Joyful news about a new grandbaby. Really nice little quilt on your refridge, but those little pictures caught my eye, how cute. Hugs going your way to hopefully help destress you from work. Take care and continued good health.

          Good to hear from you.
Keeping a stressful job under control and continuing to lose weight is commendable.
You are doing it right with BP under control and a new babe on the way.
When do we get to see the new you?

          Hugs and prayers to you.

I've missed your quirky posts, glad you're still around. Your fridge quilt is hilarious. Congratulations on new baby.

Keep your chin up xx oh dear just had to edit that after being told what I originally put means in Canada. Hope I gave those who saw it a giggle ops:

Lorchen. You have clearly been coping well with difficulties at work and such a wonderful accomplishment on the weight loss and BP. Congrats on the grandchild on the way too. I love the refrigerator door exhibit all around. Hugs.

                Wendy,
You definitely made me chuckle (ok I mean LOL) and had to read it twice and I'm from the US and still wasn't quite sure what it was supposed to mean because it had a different meaning in my mind. That is what is so great about chatting with "friends" from different countries, because words don't always have the same meaning.
                Have a great day,
                Lori

sorry about the stress but it sounds like you are handling it well! I gain weight when under stress - and I don't eat for comfort and I don't think I eat any more than I normally do - I guess it's just the way my body reacts.
                  Congrats on the upcoming arrival!

Lorchen, Iike everyone else, I am sorry to hear about the stressful issues, but congratulations on a new expected grandchild and your bp and weight loss. The latter is a huge achievement of which you rightfully should be very proud. Its not easy losing weight in the winter when what we really want is warm comfort foods. Hugs

Ok, ok..... you want one, so you get one. I don't look any different, even though all my trousers need taking in.

You do look different Lorchen - you have a healthy glow and like the others said you look beautiful. Why don't you make that your profile photo?

Yes, great photo! Your eyes sparkle and I love your genuine smile. Good job. Now, aren't you chuffed? ( I heard a Brit say that once and I think it means proud of yourself...) After Wendy's ...ahem...lesson, I thought I'd try your side of the English language even though it makes me nervous.
