Just want to share an itsy-bitsy success :)

When I started to seriously tackle my weight problem I did not take a tape measure and write down dozens of measurements, and then check them all the time. I feel that if things are getting better I'll notice it in ways that don't need a tape measure.

Soooooo, I have been struggling for the last couple of weeks with a nasty chest infection, and have seen my local doctor once a week. There are two types of chairs in the waitingroom of the surgery: ones with arms, and ones without. I have always sat on the chairs without arms because I simply wasn't able to get into the others. Well, today I forgot about that and sat down...... in a chair with arms...... and it wasn't a problem!!

    What'll happen next, I wonder?!

              Great stuff Lorchen.

I dream of the day I can sit in an aeroplane seat without my arms folded in front of me

Fantastic, Lorchen!! Being a struggler myself I recognize how great you must have felt. I probably would have embarrassed myself by jumping up and yelling "look what I just did"!! I'm sure you were much more proper and reserved ;-)

                      Whoo-hoo! So good Lorchen.

And Wendy, you don't have to be large to feel cramped on an airplane seat (especially if it's a Ryanair flight. ) If they put the seats any closer together we may as well unscrew our legs and send them in the cargo and then sit on the lap of the person next to us.

                          Hi Lorchen -
On thinking about your news this afternoon, I want to tell you that I think (and probably others too) that this is not just 'an itsy-bitsy success'

                          Ya-hoo!
