    sunny Tuesday

Well it has as usual been busy around here. Last week I had a garage sale that went ok. Then this week has been trying to catch up on housework, prepare for end of the year school stuff, get ready for birthday parties, wedding showers, basketball tournaments, last week of soccer. Tired already and it is only Tuesday. Though we will keep going. I have gotten the shower and birthday gifts. Now to make cards and wrap them. I will walk to get the kiddos to get our exercise, and I am tempted to take another bike ride tonight though my butt might not want to. it really wore the kids out and to be honest was a lot of fun watching them ride their bikes and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

I got two small wall hangings for the preschool teachers layered and pinned. Now to get them quilted so I can get the binding on.

I hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather. We are having amazing weather. I need to get out there and get the gardens worked on.

    Have a great day,
    Stacey

We are having beautiful weather Stacey! I LOVE it - would love it even more if I were at home instead of at work, but I got to take an extra long (4 hour) lunch hour today - dd2 finally took her driver's test and passed today. She's been so intimidated to take the test, but finally felt ready. We celebrated with lunch out and ran a couple of errands too.

I'm still working on the 2nd wedding quilt but making good progress and am really enjoying it. The pattern itself is not one I would have chosen, but it's a fun one. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to let dd1 see it in progress or make her wait till it's all done. She's flying home Memorial weekend to get her dress fitted, meetings with the DJ, photographer, etc.

Bought some hanging baskets today so I can plant more of the flowers I bought - hope I have hooks to hang them from!!!

Stacey - I have that "end of the school year" stuff going on here, too. DD has been injured and did not run track for two weeks (strained/pulled muscle way inside her upper thigh. Not necessary outside hamstring, more way in the center of her leg she says. Seemed like rest was the answer because she ran in the league meet today and did great. Her times were slow because she hasn't run in two weeks but she was happy it didn't hurt and didn't get re-aggravated.

Darce - Send some of that nice weather my way and SOON! So need a break from the cool temps and clouds.

I have been picking up the house since I got home from the track meet. Trying to make it look less cluttered as things have just gotten put down anywhere the last few days.

Going to try to get into the sewing room - even 15 minutes would be enough to get another row sewn on my spring time quilt.
