She looks so adorable Judy!!!
It's Wed now, we got 5 - 6 inches of snow yesterday - yuk! Took Bella in for another follow up today and the splint came off! Yay - the vet said the shoulder looks good, but we've got to be extra careful for at least the next several weeks. It took her much longer than we expected for the sedation to wear off tho.
I have half of the 1st border on the one wedding quilt and am waiting for the pattern to come for the other one. Exciting!
Hugs,
Darce

HI all,
Back from New York City and trying to catch up with laundry, housework, jobs, the message board and get ready for Easter here on Saturday and my in-law's on Sunday all at the same time! There just wasn't enough free time in a big enough block to be able to go to the American Folk Art Museum to see the quilt display. But DD and I got to skate at Rockefeller Center as they still had ice.
DH taped the Talladega race for me so tonight I fast forwarded through it and got the highlights while I did applique for a little bit. Been trying to get a chance to get here on the board since Monday! Finally made it! Whew!

I looked at that face and saw the "I'm going to do it MY WAY!" personality coming out. She really is a very sweet baby most of the time. No I didn't make the sundress. My clothes sewing is limited to the little t-shirt/body suit dresses I've made in the past. No pattern, simple and quick. Also, I watch the sales and in most cases the fabric and pattern would cost more than buying the dress ready made.Originally posted by laceyirishJudy, what a sweet little face!! Must be hard to refuse her anything, LOL! Did you make her adorable little sundress too?
Hugs, Georgia

I love the picture, Judy! I get the vibe from that photo, definitely. This world needs another spunky little girl! I'll be visiting with my grandchildren this weekend -- 2 little boys, 2 little girls = lots of fun! I'm packing as I write this. I've had a busy couple of weeks, quiltwise. We had Bonnie Hunter at our quilt guild and my quilt top is almost finished from the workshop I took. I used blacks and whites from the many swaps that I've done on QYW. I had more than enough and will probably have to do another quilt to make a real dent in them. When I get back from Easter weekend I hope to get going on it and maybe post it by the end of the week. I also went to a sew-in for our guild raffle quilt. I only had to make two blocks, but it was like quilt exams, because we're raffling this off so points and sizes had to be perfect.
We're leaving early AM tomorrow == hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.
Peggy
