It's Saturday... Horay!
Hi folks,
I have been busy and haven't been able to check in often. Glad to know things are still plugging away here  Lyn, my prayers are with your brother and family. Hope things are going better.
Seems like everyone is having a productive early spring. I have been trying to keep the house clean with 3 long hair animals that are shedding like crazy. Plus trying to get my gardens ready so it's less work later on. I have started quilting another baby quilt and have been working on another quilt for me that has been "itching my brian" as I call it. Whenever I'm working on something else all I can think about is getting this one done. Plus I am working on the binding of a WH for my dh's Grandmother. I read an article last year that (can't remember the author or magazine) said she only works on 1 quilt project at a time. Well I tried it for a good 6 months and yea... not working for me. I get sick of it and it takes more time to do something since I don't touch it for days at a time. So I pulled out 3 projects of very different ideas and have been working a little of each 3 everyday and it's working well. So that's my plan and I'm stickin' to it.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Happy Stitching,
Margaret

Sounds like a good plan Margaret! It's misty and overcast here, but supposed to be a beautiful day. Thinking about cleaning out my flower beds if it does get nicer. There's the never ending laundry to catch up and bathroom to clean. Then work on the wedding quilt. The blocks are sewn and pressed, I'm in the process of squaring them now - then the layout. Haven't decided if I want to fight the dogs for the living room floor or shove stuff out of my way for the basement floor - we'll see.

Margaret--Your plan sounds good. There is no way I am a one-project gal either. My progress directly relates to my mood and sometimes I don't know what that mood is until I pick something up.
Now that the fall throw is pieced and packaged I haven't really decided on the next machine project. I quilted a mug rug yesterday afternoon. That was a sheer terror until I discovered the machine was threaded wrong. Finishing it is not totally uncharted water but close to it. As it was hand pieced I now am itching to piece another one---or six. Pieces are all waiting. I have been doing much more cross stitching than sewing. Have to watch the World's Curling.

Morning all,
Cie, hope you get feeling better!
Agnes, enjoy your World's Curling!
Darce, Glad you're making progress on the wedding quilt.
Well I had a busy day yesterday but no sewing. I got ALL of my bushes and hedges trimmed, ran a ton of errands, made lasagna for dinner and even got my present for a bridal shower wrapped! Usually I forget about it and scram to wrap it in the car. I forgot to shut the windows last night because it was so warm! It felt like summer! I love it!
So today I don't see any sewing in the forcast since I have this bridal shower and it's gonna take me 3 hours to get there. Hope everyone has a lovely day and gets some quilting in!
Happy Stitching,
Margaret

Well we had a soccer game yesterday and a dance dress rehersal yesterday. Then we went to the dog park and walked/ran the dog. today was making muffins, then park for awhile, then outside to ride bikes, clean yard, and break down cardboard, then off to my nephews birthday party. It has been a busy weekend, but really a lot of fun. Especially with all the time we got to spend outside. Can't ask for better.
Now onto the rest of the spring cleaning and most importantly this week I am going to start getting back to working out and eating better.
No time like the present right.
Have a great day everyone.
Hugs,
Stacey
