    happy St. Patricks Day everyone

I love this holiday for some reason. Maybe it's because I truly am a little Irish. I also love today because basketball tournaments start and I just love watching the games both high school and college. I have my bracket all made out, so here we go.

I h ave guild tonight at the same time Wisconsin play. Hard choice, but I will proabably take some me time as this next week I am not going to get much of it with my husband hopefully getting his radiation treatment.

As for the rest we will just see. I did some cross stitching last night and will probably do more of that as I don't have a binding to do for the games. Have a great day. Eat some saurkraut, corned beef and green beer.

Luck of the Irish to you all

No Irish in my background, at all, but love the green shamrocks so I never forget this holiday. It also means I should get my Tulips for Spring wall hanging finished so I can swap out the hangings in a few days.

Stacey--Hope all goes well for hubby taking his treatments.

Busy day and weekend coming up for me but maybe a little bit of applique time later tonight. The list is too long to go into but the beauthiful weather today is sure making up for it! Hope everyone is having a great day.

I'm a little Irish, but really don't like cooked cabbage, so we had chicken and cole slaw - close enough? Probably no beer either - I want to get some quilting done that won't need ripping out! I did start quilting the background of that wallhanging last night, but the ds texted that he wanted to Skype with us and I sure won't pass up that opportunity. He had a lot he wanted to talk about related to his re-enlistment (4 more years) and just chat in general. We laughed so hard at him trying to understand why, if his wife's clothes already overflow the closet, does she need to buy more! He grew up with 2 sisters, how did he miss that about them?!?!? Anyway, it was bedtime by the time we got done talking, so didn't finish that last night either. Better get in there.

I love St. Patrick's Day, too! My grandpa was born on this day, and it makes me smile to remember him. Our tradition is pretty much just to wear green. I FINALLY bought myself a shamrock necklace after years of only thinking of my sister (whose birthday is the 18th) when I would see anything with shamrocks. Had all three kids in green today, and read the story of St. Patrick to my daughter's preschool class.

Haven't had any time to sew since guild meeting last Saturday, but have so much to do!
