(another) snowy Sunday!
The snow is really coming down hard here - making up for starting later than expected I guess. I packed my stuff all up and brought it home from retreat (at our local library) last night and am glad I did. I got 44 of 48 9 patch variation blocks done for a charity quilt. I'll finish the last 4 blocks today - along with getting at the FAFSA for dd2's financial aid and finishing up both girls' taxes. Oh boy. I'll probably catch up the Money program and make sure all bills are scheduled for payment. Not my favorite job, but necessary. I've got a couple of other projects I want to make some more progress on too - maybe I'll manage to get to post a finish on the Feb finishes thread!

Morning, Darce! Sun is shining here! We got about 2-3" yesterday, and I'm done with it!! ENOUGH!! Gotta keep telling myself it's ONLY mid February though! Still have to get through March. April will be here soon enough!! THEN we can start thinking about sunshine and warmth!!
Just got a call from the hospital that my dad is being moved today, to a surgical floor rather than ICU. I sort of liked it in ICU...lots of personal attention!! But, this will be good too. I know a lot of people at this hospital, and it helps! I'll use any connections I can!

It was sunny here in Michigan this morning on the way to church. Now it's clouding up. Hey, everyone, Darce is sending the snow my way! Make her stop!
I will be watching the Daytona 500 today and doing applique. I have one border all done after making some adjustments as I wasn't please with how I initially put on some of the leaves. This is a quilt the Monday quilt group I go to is doing for the local Catholic school to auction off at their fundraiser festival this coming summer. Oh, I hear the invocation from the race -- gotta go!
