Thank you for your quick response. One of the reasons I prewash is to shrink the fabric.

Hump day Wednesday
I had a great quilt day yesterday. I actually got out of the house and visited/sewed with friends at our guild's charity quilt sew-in. I have my top almost sewn together -- hopefully I'll get it done this morning. I confess to cabin fever after this long winter. There was also a fq sale - $1 each from donated fabrics, so of course I grabbed up a bunch! We use the money to buy more kid friendly fabric for our donated quilts. We all had fun--even though it was a cold day -- but a 60 degree Friday is in the forecast -- WooHoo!!!
Hope you all have a great day!

Peggy--Sounds like you had a great day. We're experiencing temps around the melting point. In a way it is a good thing. Snow/moisture is evaporating easing some of the spring flood fears but there is still lots of winter ahead of us. I'm not complaining as it is down right pleasant for my walks to and from the hospital. Sleep eluded me early this morning so I am finishing up piecing my July wall hanging. For the past ten years I have had an off and on relationship with monthly/seasonal wall hangings. Valentine's Day will come down shortly to be replaced with St Patrick's Day. I have an iris hanging that can tide me over to July/Canada Day but I am thinking about a sunflower themed one to then take me to fall. I still need to quilt the falling leaves hanging.

Morning,
Peggy, glad you enjoyed yourself yesterday
Agnes, I have seasonal WH's on my to do list... hopefully I will get to them next year. This year is all about my UFO's. I bet yours are very nice.
As for me.... Mom got invited to a crochet group the other day and it meets this morning so we're gonna try it. Then an LONG overdue oil change for the car and tonight is Girls Night Out at the lqs. So I'm hoping the hubby will get home early so I can leave. Or I might just head in there early and work on my BoM and then leave to take mom home when the hubby gets home. decisions, decisions  hope everyone has a quilt filled day!
Happy Stitching,
Margaret

Was going to sew today but it's overcast and yucky out and it's making my hands hurt and they are just getting over being swollen from my RA flare so don't want to make them worse. i'm think ing about going and taking a nap. Tomorrow I have a long day at the doctors I have to be there at 8:30am then go back at 4pm so hubby and I will be window shopping and going to lunch in between. It's a 35 mile drive 1 way to the doctors so it doesn't pay to go all the way back home.
Prayers to all that need them.
Huggs,
Cie
