Thanks for your nice words.
I could do a night photo, but it will take some time, because the quilt disappeared from my house 24 hours after I hung it on my wall. A friend of mine, who is a psychotherapist loved it so much I allowed her to take it and hang it in her clinic. I promised some time ago to make her a quilt for the clinic but have not had time yet to do it (read: no quilt has shown up in my mind yet), so she borrowed this one till I make her a new. I think I'll borrow it back in the end of March because I feel it's needed here during a workshop that I house at that time. So I'll make a photo then.

Hi Norma,
I really like 'Future', you did a wonderful job! I have a Bernina 440QE with BSR also, I like you had skipped stitches. I finally realized the BSR did not read the thread's when it passed over darker colors (green, blue, brown, or black).

Hi BarbCA. I think my problem with the BSR was, that it allowed the quilt to go up with the needle. Besides my BSR never worked properly in anything. It's time for my annual bringing the machine in, so I will talk to them about it. There is a long thread on the subject on this forum and that calmed me down, because it seems that the BSR can be upgraded. There is hope!

...about the BSR updates...I just took my machine in for it's routine cleaning and such, and asked them to upgrade my BSR (because I recently read the thread about this). I was told there have been no updates in 4 years. My machine is a 5 year old 440QE and I have never brought my BSR in with my machine. So,I'll find out what they do. Like many who posted about this I do not use my BSR...and that was why I bought the 440. Oh! By the way...when you bring your machine in for it's cleaning, remember to switch out the single hole stitch plate and the 1/4" foot...oppsops:

the only thing I have finished this month is a cover for my Kindle. I took the class yesterday. I hope to get some smaller quilts done so I can send them to my daughter in Hawaii. She gives them to the NICU unit at Tripler Army Medical Center. My mother also nits hats which go to the preemies also.

A comfort quilt made with fabric from my guild -- it was from a sales sample of fabric and also donated fabric. The guild gives you the fabric and the directions. The back is also so cool -- cute scene of train, road, river -- I quilted along the lines of the road and river. Easy, peasey and cute. These quilts are donated to local charities.

Here's my latest table runner. Can't say I am particularly crazy about it but I do like the quilting design that shows on the back. I lingered too long on the centers so the next runner, one block longer, is better and doesn't have the thick build up of threads. The quilting is still a learning experience. I have a number of quilts coming up with churn dash blocks so finally I have my design down before the needle hits the quilt.
Here's the back side.
