The pattern is "Two of a Kind." It was in the April 2008 American Quilting and Patchwork magazine. The designer is Rachel Shelburne and the quilts - one in 30's fabrics and one in batiks - were made by Darlene Zimmerman. Both ways are cute!
Thanks for the compliments, Agnes and Georgia. And nice job on your finishes, too, Agnes! Everyone's finishes look so great!

Love all the pictures of the finished projects! I finally finished one from my 2010 UFO list!!! It's a flannel Tunning 20 Quilt. The flannel came from a FQ swap that Jeanne did a couple of years ago on QYW MB. I just got done with the binding and made the label. I'll post a picture when I get my camera back from my DD.

I finished the quilt, that has given me troubles ever since it was designed Dec. 23rd 2003. Some of you following the Forum has heard of it before, because I was very tired of it and was thinking of throwing it out. For new members I can tell, that I made the little drawing that day and soon after when I was sitting thinking about something else, it came by in colors. I put those colors on paper and now I was in trouble. I knew I had to make my fabric to make it look like my inner picture, but I didn't have the skills then. I waited patiently and in 2008 I made the fabric. In 2009 I made the quilt top and it was on my table for one more year, because I couldn't decide what to do with the quilting. In 2010 I got my Bernina 440 QE and decided to do the free motion thing on it. There was a lot of frustration because my machine skipped stitches. The quilt was now on my wall for a long time until I decided to let go of the BSR foot and put on the darning foot. Skipping stitches stopped and now it's done. What a relief. I had a space on my profile for it, and just checked the Gallery, but It's not coming up as a new quilt, so here's to Margo and Ritzy who were chocked by the thought of getting rid of it . By the way I used glowy thread on the blue background and that is really fantastic. When you turn of the light at night it is like the moon is shining.
I named it Future, when the sketch was done and I must say, I had no idea that it would take so long to manifest it. Today I would call it The Worst Quilt of My Life    , but I really like the moon shine during night  .
