Good Morning on Sunday
It looks like everyone is having a busy weekend. We are experiencing almost melting temperatures which makes for pleasant weather as I have my daily walk to and from visiting DH in the hospital. The surgery went well. So far he is he doing well. We still have a waiting game and other changes ahead of us but we are thankful for each new improved day.
I pulled out the knitting needles. The goal is to knit five dishcloths but the old thumb tells me to not be so cocky and do only a little bit a day. I have been stitching down the binding on a runner at the hospital and one at home. I now have to get the quilting done on place mats and more runners so that I can get the binding on those. I love to read but it puts me to sleep. Sitting in those bedside chairs would be a recipe creating another patient.
May you all have a good day.

Glad the surgery went well, Agnes. Hope Vern continues to heal well, I am verrt happy the knitting and quilting keep your mind and hands busy. You make sure you be careful walking on those sidewalks with all the melty snow, please.
I had a slow day yesterday of cleaning in the morning and a little quilting in the evening. Babysat a couple hours for my DH's great nephew and great niece, knocked some snow off the roof so the ice in the eaves trough can melt better hopefully, washed the basement stairs, the steps to the garage and the laundry room floor - even pulled out the washer and dryer. (All those are vinyl flooring.) Also started DD' #2's laundry when she got home finally yesterday for winter break. I also made her a good supper as she has an ulcer and is suffering from depression (winter blues?) No wonder I dozed off on the Lazy Boy at about 9:30 last night! This morning I finished the machine quilting on the second graduation quilt I have owed since June. I hope to work on the binding this afternoon as well as get the Thimbleberries quilt laid out and pinned. Maybe I will get started tieing that, too? Who knows.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Anges, so happy to hear Vern is doing well.
Been sleeping alot and trying to sew even though my hand is really swollen from my RA. I made 2 Valentine's Day towels for my bathroom today and took a picture of my P.C. Door hanger. will try and post them here.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I have to cut out and sew 1 more mugrug for a swap.

Agnes, glad to hear Vern's doing well! Hope things continue to move along smoothly for him. Sounds like you've got a good plan worked out re visiting and keeping busy too.
Kathy, too bad your DD can't stay home a little longer for more R&R. Sounds like you had a productive day yesterday!
Cie, cute projects - really like the door hanger. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Kathy, geeze you're getting a lot done. keep it up and send that energy my way
Cie, cute towels and hanger.
As for me I got the house cleaned up today and should head down to the sewing room but a nap may take over instead.
Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!

Agnes, glad to hear the good news on Vern.
I made a trip to St. Cloud Friday, but went 45 min the wrong way first to pick up one of dd2's good friends. It was a combination commerseration and bridesmaid dress shopping trip. The first part because she & her boyfriend broke up last week and she was very blue and of course we needed to get her dresses for the weddings. It was really a good time. Got home yesterday afternoon and didn't do much of anything. Today was laundry, some sewing and reading. Pretty relaxing. I also pulled some more fabrics for ds/ddil2b's wedding quilt. I'm really excited to start this. Wish there were one more day of weekend tho.
