    TGIF!!! YIPPEEEE!

    It's Friday.... thank goodness!

Life is starting to go a bit easier again. I got the boarders on my WH this morning. I think I have enough fabric for the backing (ewh!) So after I redd up the house this morning I'm might get that basted. This afternoon dm and I head to Madison for her Dr. appt. and a visit with df. Hopefully a quiet weekend and some warmer temps. I might try to go out and prune some trees that need it before they get their buds. Hope everyone has a nice Friday!

    Happy Stitching,

    Margaret

Margaret, I could not agree more on the Friday joy LOL! Good luck finishing your quilt!

Yes, I think our temps might start edging up a bit as well. We've not been half as bad as so many places across the country, but it's too darned cold for me.

I'm heading over to my parents' today for a little crafty quality time with mom, especially. Also, today is apparently Hug a Tall Person Day and my daddy is 6'4" (doesn't seem to be losing any height with age), so he'll get some attention too LOL! As far as what I'll be working on there... I am disinclined to cart my 30+ lb. Elna 7300 over with a large quilt just finish that, so will probably just bring a bit of crocheting.

Then taco night at some friends' house, and I think they're going to make us karaoke. Oh my.

Anyway, have a wonderful day everyone!

Breathe, yeah, Friday! I am off to work in 10 minutes but wanted to step in and say good morning.

My DH installed our bathtub last nite (I have many remodel stories) so I am looking forward to a jucuzzi bath after work and some sewing room play time.
Dinner is a drive thru spaghetti dinner so I should have lots of time to play.

Sounds like good days planned. we are actually looking at some 60s for this weekend before the rain returns next week. Enjoy the day.

The sun is shining here!!! What a treat. After the cold and snow I plan to sit in my family room all day and read. I have a bunch of continueing education stuff to do and my book for book club. Two of the walls are all windows so I can enjoy the sun while I read.

Taxes will be on the agenda for the weekend. I have most of the stuff to do them. I will also do my dd#3 and mother's taxes, but those are easy. If all goes well I will be able to squeeze in some sewing. I finished piecing the 2nd of 9 crazy quilt blocks last weekend. I hope to do some of the decorative work on my machine to save some time. There is a chance that I will finish this 50th yr quilt before the person turns 50 - that would be the first time.

Hope everyone has a good day.

        Hugs and prayers to all.

        Lyn

I'm back working on my RRCB quilt. Finished another block and hope to have two more done today. If I do two a day at least then in 13 more days those blocks will be done -- yea! Oh yea, I also have to finish the challenge quilt for my guild. Next week a bunch of us meet for a comfort quilt workshop. I haven't seen my quilty friends in weeks with this crazy weather so I'm looking forward to that. Hope you all have a good weekend.
