FRIDAY... The weekend is upon us!

    HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!

It's finally here! What are everyone’s plans for today and the rest of the weekend?

I got that binding finished up, took me all day because I was chatting so much with my quilt group I didn't sew much. So I need to get it all hand stitched down today. That is the only thing on my agenda for the day.

As far as the heat front goes. The guy was wonderful yesterday. Rearranged his schedule to come out so I didn't miss my quilt group, didn't over charge me and got it working... until I got home. It stopped working again... So he's on his way back this morning. He talked me through how to keep it semi warm here last night so he didn't have to make an extra "emergency" call.

Hope everyone has a good day!

    Happy Stitching,

    Margaret

Good Morning! I'm off to BOM in a bit, then grocery shopping - Old Mother Hubbard has nothing on our cupboards! They are in such a sorry state! I'd like to get a little house cleaning in and take down the rest of the winter/Christmas decorations. I tend to leave the snowmen and a few other things up, but it's time for it all to be put away. Tomorrow is VIP - the demonstrations and new products showcase at the lqs. I'm going with a couple of friends, then we'll go out for lunch to celebrate one of them's birthday, which was last week. Fun! I want to get a batch of cookies baked so I can send some to dd2, who's been having a very stressful time since Christmas break - not the classes, the job at the college newspaper. You'd think her supervisors, instead of telling her what she did is wrong and changing it themselves, could tell her why it's wrong and show her how to change it, so she could learn. Poor kid! Then there's taxes and catching up the Money program - extra fun - NOT. I definitely plan to find my sewing room for awhile somewhere in there.

Good luck with the heat Margaret!

    Hugs,
    Darce

Today has been one of those days that I have stayed so busy and have accomplished absolutely nothing :? I am supposed to bowl in a tournament tonight and I broke off the key in the lock to my locker where my ball and shoes are. Hopefully someone will be able to get into the locker by the time I have to leave or I won't be able to participate.

      Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Oh Pat, that would not be good to have to bowl in your socks and run down the alley to knock the pins over because you can't get to your shoes and ball! Hope management was able to help out.

Darce - I hate those days when the cupboards are so bare you can't cook anything without some ingredient being missing.
Margaret - hope the heat situation is all fixed now.

I am so glad to be done working for the week! I need to get bookwork squared away by Wednesday as that is the day of the appointment with the accountant. I hope to mix in some quilty time this weekend, too. Some applique and borders on Thimbleberries 2008. Sunny but windy day here. We are supposed to get more snow by Sunday with a chance of snow every day next week. Sigh. Oh well, my roses and perenniels (sp) will be well protected from the dry winter winds so that is one good thing, right?
